Junior BandThere is a junior / feeder band for youngsters and the young at heart, with a professional music teacher [Jeanette Kendall, BA (Hons)], and musicians of all abilities are welcome. The aim is to provide the experience of playing with others, as a band, with help from members of the Senior Band, so that in due course the players should be able to progress to the main band. Members of the Senior Band play alongside this band, so there is plenty of help available for both new musicians, and for those who feel that they need to brush up their skills a little. It is usually possible for the Band to lend brass instruments to players who attend practices regularly. Junior Band practices are held on alternate Tuesdays at 7pm in Rievaulx Methodist Hall.
